105 with uniform background and white bands

    Hi,
Happens when copy or from Network with M2 controller
Got a 105 customer runs a lot of 11x17 up to about 80lb paper Sympton is I get mostly faint background all over page except I get random white bands about 1/4 in wide from (operator side to rear) sometimes the bands are evenly spaced apart sometimes there will be two near each other. heres what I done so far

    Chargers replaced
    Drum Replaced/blade
    Potential control replaced
plate behind primary charger cleaned someone suggest random arching
Different Developer housing didn't make a difference

    any input would be appreciated
    Thanks in Advance
    Billy

does this happen when printing 1st side or 2nd side , for the even banding whats the space between each band and could scan and upload the problem print

What do your PG prints look like? Are they the same as your prints from off the glass?Check your pre-exp LEDS and the waste toner...be sure it is turning like it should. You used a different dv unit but what did the collars look like on it.They should be smooth with no toner build up on them.
How many copies are on it?And, have you done aything with the drum drive?
Need to isolate first.Make sure it is not the scanner by printing out a few PG prints. Then go from there.

I know 11X17 but i really hate to just say its the laser.Gotta check a couple of other things before i go there.I know Canon has some issues with the lasers but i hate to just say its the laser without troubleshooting some.

            Problem Solved 105 background

I went back there with a fresh mind this afternoon It was the same on the PG prints and the glass Then I went back to the AP area again cleaned everything white collars on the dev housing went real dirty but weren't clean either. Then In the Auger area i found a long piece of what looked like hair but thicker it was paper this shop cuts there own 8.5 x 11 from the 11 x 17 (a paper Chad LOL) and runs it Also there was quite a bit of toner on the cleaning roller and behind the blade. The rear side of Drum already had crusty build up on it as well cleaned that off too. I had to run the piss out of it to get it to clean up was getting random streaks but they went away after about 300 pages Customer ran live job and said OK to me
I dont know if one thing fixed it but combo of all couldn't of helped .
            Thanks KopyR for you input
