Canon Scan to SMB error

    Canon Scan to SMB error

    Every month all canon copiers won't send scanned using SMB. I always change user password to same or remove latest windows security update and then work's normally. But that's repeat every month. Is there solution for permanent work?

          Are you using ip address or pc name, ip address changes all time lease expires and new ip address gets assigned.

          Model no copier ?

              I use PC name. But it happens on models Canon IR1133if, IR 4025i, IR2520i, IRC3320 and similar models to that.

                              All of them. They some use SMB 1 but some use SMB 2&3. All printers have latest firmware installed.

                                  On Windows, create a new user without a domain, which is not linked to office 365, and it will always work.

                                          Do you have special SMB 2/3 firmware installed on machines? And "latest firmware" has nothing to do with it. What Windows OS version are they running on computers?

                                              If you are using local user make sure that 'password never expired' is ticked
