Dear Sir
E 051 is the horizonal motor problem, you can take out the pick up ass'y. On the motor have a small gear, sometime this gear broken.
Good luck to you.
I've had acouple of these in the past. I've never had to replace anything, the horizontal reg motor became stuck in the wrong position. I was able to manually move it back and rebooted copier. Not sure why the motor was in the wrong position-cust related?
You have to remove the pick up assembly, hor reg motor is on the top!
