I had this ADF from a iR5055 that was jamming on a frequent basis.
The jam codes were 0004-0007-00012. The point at were it was jamming was by the scanning area in the feeder. It would fan up, or at times you could see a indent at the lead edge of the paper upon delivery. I checked everything from sensors to cutting wire ties, Replaced one of the stepping motors. I pulled out the lower delivery guide because it was the last thing that paper passes thru. I inspected the guide and notice that the guide was slightly warp, first problem. Second problem, there is a flapper that attaches to the guide with a spring hook, this also was affected by the guide. It'd seemed as if the holes on the guide were a bit to small for the flappers shaft. When I replaced these parts today and attached the new flapper to the guide, the flapper moved so smoothly unlike the other one, it would hesitate when opening I believe this was the reason along with the warpness of the lower guide that caused the paper to crash into the flapper. I attached some photos. Maybe this would help someone one day.
Screwtape.
