    Cleaning The ir8070 Drum

    Hi the Drum of IR 8070 Have toner dried in to spots. This Produce white spots in the copies made. Can i use IP or Tinner to clean the Drum? which one can be used pls suggest me.

        I use Vim...thin it out a bit...no chunks...works great(same with Soft Scrub).Pop the cleaner blade assembly out, do it right in drawer

          Back in the days when I worked on IR600's I used to used alcohol and a lint free towel and buffed the drum when I notice speckles on images and PG5's.
          I also buffed out those specks out right from where the developer is at. Pull out the developer and clean them off the drum. Save me time and worked like a charm.

            I use Brasso on tha ASI drums and it works great.

              yes use brasso and clean with any alcohol base cleaner and coat the drum with drum powder increase drum blade pressure
