    IR7086 Suspend Error

I am getting an error with no code. When you turn the copier on it powers up and no errors and seems fine. When you try to make a copy the red light on top of the screen flashes and on the screen it says suspended. If you go to the system monitor it says error for the job.

Go into the "System Monitor" and look at the Print Log.
Highlight one of the failed print jobs and select "details".
At the top of the next screen you should see a number e.g. #842 etc...this is the send error code and the service manual contains a list of exlinations regarding these send codes.
You should be able to work out why it's happening from that...also...you forgot to mention whether you have an Imagepress connected.

You can't copy,,, but will the engine produce test prints? I just had a 3025 that would not come ready, but the engine was able to produce all the test prints and p-prints etc... I had to replace the reader controller board so that the machine would come ready.

      Good luck

Check those fixing feeder connectors and the rear connectors for paper. Paper has the tendency of getting stuck between those male and female connectors. Before you make a copy check the fixing assy and make sure its getting hot. One more thing. Are there any accessories connected? Check the staple units staple cartridge as well, if there is a finisher connected.

Thanks to everyone for the help. I disconnected the finisher and stapler already. I am not using an imagepress. I found the error code with your help. It is #099. I will have to check my service manual and see what that is. If anyone can offer further advice based on this error code it will be appreciated greatly. Thanks again.

              suspeneded

Honestly i didnt think the finisher was an option on that model ... keep it connected just remove the staple cartridge ... are you getting the " printing .. waiting to print .. printing " message also ?

#99 means that there is a interruption in the copy or print process.
Obviously we know that.. The question is.. What is interrupting the process? Is the fixing ass'y getting hot?

Yeah Screwy...I thought we may have seen an error code pointing to a server issue.
                  Not a boring old #99

The fixing assembly is NOT getting hot.

There is your problem. Take a flash light, pull out the fixing feeding unit look inside towards the rear. Check those terminal connectors for jammed paper. The fixing feeding unit is not making proper contact when its pushed in. This is why your fixing ass'y is not warming up and its causing the copier to suspend all functions.

You have stated that the fuser is not getting hot, by touch or copier>display>analog>temp? I am curious,,, if the temp is not up, do you get a "Ready to copy" on the screen, or something like"you can make mode settings now"...

I removed a small piece of paper that was stuck behind the duplexer. It looked to be covering a sensor in the back of the copier. When I started the copier an immediate error came up # E000010-0000. I can no longer get to the main screen. It is stuck on the error screen.

Okay so I had both motors, the DC control board, the Relay PCB, and the HV-DC PCB all serviced and fixed. I installed them all back in the copier. Now I am getting this error code.

                              E000010-0000

I have done everything the service manual tells me, but I cannot fix this error.
