Jig the door and make a copy, it should come under the drum completely flat. If the lead edge rises at all the static eliminator is not working or your paper has too much curl. Flip it over in the cassette and watch it again, if there is not any noticeable difference check/replace the T/S assembly FG6-0456-000. Even if it looks fine, those static eliminators lose contact very easy. The tab at the end of it can get deformed, they crack, etc...

To add to what D_L_P has told you,, the static eliminators will fill up with toner and are prevented from doing what they were designed to do. Pull out the wand and blow out the depression in it so you can see all the teeth (looks like a hacksaw blade). When you put it back in, be sure to line up the guide so it is in the bottom of the slot,, otherwise the paper will crash into it's raised edge.
