    You can start testing this 3200 HDD,
    Have printer powered off
    1.Hold down the 1 & 9 key, while still holding> down power up 3200
    2.wait until u see the screen go into the download mode
    3. u will see white blocks dropping on screen/ let go of the 1&9 key
    4. wait about 30min. & see if it will complete this Defrag of the Hard Drive,
    5. U may get lucky and have this fix your 602 issue.
    6. If machine goes back to a 602 error code, u will have to buy or get a HDD somewhere.

    If u need a 40gb-HDD for this model that is not an OEM from Canon,
    u have to search the internet {google} for them . most will be used/refurbished.

    Press the Auto Color Select Button on control panel:

    1. Select Black

    2. Select the Additional Function Button

    3. Select The Copy Settings Button and go to the Second Screen

    4. Press the Standard Settings Button

    5. Select Store ( A message will come up asking you if you wish to store this setting.)

    6. Select "Yes" Store in Memory

    7. Press the Done Button

    8. Press the Done Button again in order to go out of the Additional Function Screen
