then have this person >install the new HDD>Format it with SST>

He told me that the machine doesn't start and that he peformed a test but he can't remember the error code.
I insisted that it can be the hard drive, that is why I asked for the sst and the system software, I got the sst but lack the software.
I know it connects with crossover cable wich I can make and I'm pretty good with computers, more f*cked up that it is right now it can't be I guess.

When I insisted that it can be the hard drive he told me it can be the hard drive or the boot rom, the machine won't turn now even the screen, they tryed to load the system new into the hard drive yesterday and they couldn't, that is why I think is the hard drive. Now he just told me it can be the boot rom or the hard drive, I hate this 3 technitians already an each one tells me a different story .

    I'll keep you guys posted
    Thanks again for your replies

The honest answer here is that the 2270 has been out for a long time,, your hard drive needs to be replaced by a NEW one, and the software loaded at the latest levels. No, I do not supply SST or System Software.

If I might make a suggestion, as this machine seems to be your income source, see if your service vendor will place it under a service contract, to control your costs to a known amount per year...

This software is not for the consumer. You'll more than likely f*ck up your machine more than it is now if you try doing it yourself.

SST and system software for IR2270

Hello guys, I know this might be as an interested post, since is my first here. But it's a despewrate one.I own a very small copy bussiness who has been running for 6 months now, and my main income comes from my IR2270 used. I has pressented boot problems for about 3 weeks now, and the technitian has come 3 times already and had cleaned, contact etc, but I feel it's a software problem and I have told him so since the first time, all times he charged me.Today came another one and tryed to upgrade the software unsuccesfully. I'm tyred of paying and the copier is not running, tomorrow will come another one, but truthfully I don't have any more hopes in them now.I need my copier running. So please if you will be kind enough to email me or point me to a place where can I download the system software and the SST for the IR2270 I will be very grateful. Thanks again and I'm sorry if I bother some of you guys. Best wishes, papillon1508@gmail.com

You yourself perpetuate it by sending files to every Tom Dick and Harry that asks for it. The more people you send it to the more want it.
