how about a little more info. Do you have a jam code? Is the trail edge crinkled? Where is the lead edge? Some things to check would be the pre-transfer guides. They can bow and the top will touch the bottom and stop the paper. Open the drawer and look into where the paper enters the upper drawer and you will see it. If the trail edge is crinkled then the roller at the trail edge is pushing but the lead edge is not being pulled.A code would help. Also does it jam from all cassettes? Is the glass half full or half empty? I say neither. The glass is obviously full, full of potential. The potential to hold more water or the potential to quench a thirst. Life is all about how you see it. -
Yep. I need the jam codes please. If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Check the one-way bearings on the feed roller shaft. The black one right next to the feed roller usually doesn't go bad, but the white one on the other end of that shaft goes bad. If it is slipping, it's a good idea to replace the shaft and both bearings.
The other thing I remember is the 1st vertical feed roller the paper hits out of the feed section wears down. Even though it has tread it will be considerably smaller diameter than a new one.Comment

Here are a few ideas:
Misfeeds (jam code 0102) from deck #1 at vertical path #1. Worn PF tires at deck #1. (250K copies) Replace PF tires at deck #1.
Misfeeds (jam code 0102) from deck #1 at vertical path #1. The deck lift platform is not level. No solution listed.
Misfeeds (jam code 0102) from deck #1 only, at vertical path #1. Paper stalls ~ 2" beyond the feed tires every time. Defective right door assembly, through it appears normal in every way. Replace the right door assembly.
Misfeeds from deck #1 after 200-300 copies. The front alignment pin (of three) on the feed unit is broken off, and the unit flexes when running. Replace the feed unit. Also install all the mounting screws.=^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
