IR8070 Hangs up Up

The machine hangs when we scan the second page i.e the machine scans the first page and for the second page the scan lamp is glowing and not moving Nothing is functioning even cannot cancel the copy. also if we take copy with out scan the paper moves and stop in the registration assembly and hangs, but the scan lamps fully moving what makes this problem?

Any error codes in history? Try one thing first may sound stupid but fixed a few machines for me in the field! "Re-Seat Staple Cartridge" then Power machine off then on again!

Hey Guys .. not as daft as it sounds Shazza .. I had a couple of early IR5055 that used to hang when they ran out of staples .. said something like Suspended on bottom of screen .. Replaced staples and away it went ..

I dont have Staple Cartridge i got error message 2 days before related to fixing temperature sensor. Error 1-003

Thanks. The scanner cable is loosen. the problem is fixed.
