    Error E01- 010 Canon 8070

    Hello again guys!

    I have a Canon iR8070 in giving a customer code E01-010
The fuser of equipment that gives code on another machine works fine.

Every time I turn off / on the equipment it changes the sub code is changing from 010, 03 and 01

Have also changed the key to the door and checked all the connectors on the machine and the fuser.

    Any tips?

    Thanks again! x)

This is the basic, was the first thing done.

the sub code 0010 mean the copier has been power cycled without reseting the error on the other side of the ( - )

          Ok
          I'll try to explain otherwise.

The machine connects with the subcode 010
It is done the reset, turn off / on, it appears with the subcode 03.
The lamp of the fuser is not even light.
Off / on the machine appears with the code 01.
Reset again, off / on back for subcode 010

          I think it was clearer.

          Thanks anyway

I would have to ask the same thing. You said you reset the machine, this is not the same as reseting a error. To reset you must enter service mode, which you have to enter into in order to clear the error. Have you gotten into service mode? You can also,
Check the inside rear terminal connector for tiny pieces of paper and for damage. You can also have a bad DC controller. If the fuser works in another machine then the only place you should be looking is in the main unit.

go in to service mode and check fixing temp "FIX C" while opening the front door and pulling out drawer one. The reference should drop to 28 degrees when the drawer is removed. Check the reference while inserting the drawer several times. The reference should raise to approx 198 degrees when the drawer is inserted. If the "FIX C" reference does not increase when the unit is inserted, clean and check the 40 pin connector, male and female, for bent, dirty or deformed connectors

Check Wall voltage/ check if thermistor cable has enough slack, so that it does not pull away from upper roller when cam turns shaft

                Solved!

The problem was the DC Controller.

                Thank you all.
