    Canon NP7030F print quality issues

The unit has approx 194K on the clock and is about 10 years old.
The unit started out with toner at the top edge, bottom edge, from right edge to about 2 inches in, the left edge and some spattering toner on other areas of the page. There is also missing toner (very light print) near the center of the printed page. They said this all stared shortly after installing remanufactured toner. They have scents replaced that toner with OEM.

Here is what I have done:
Vacuumed out as much toner as I could see, removed the toner and vacuumed the toner area.
    Still the same.
    Replaced drum
That has taken care of the right edge to about 2 inches in issue, the spattering seems to be gone and the other edges are better but still there. The missing toner (light print down the center) is still there.

I am thinking it may be a bad developer

    Any other ideas?

NP7130 was a table top,,, I Google'd NP7030, and saw a lot of South American references, like Chile & Argentina.

pcs mentions developer... The NP-7130 is monocomponent. And every Canon NP-series machine is monocomponent.

I don't recognize the NP-7030 model number. At present, just call me confused. =^..^=

          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

If it is a NP-7130F, the first thing I'd say is get install OEM toner, make sure that the mag roller is clean (while it's empty), and do the exposures adjustment in the book. The aftermarket toner makes very poor copies.

Son of the NP6412....Crash the machine mid cycle on a sky-shot and check if the image is light on the drum. If not, move left. If it is light, move right to the developer. Pop the drum out and see that the dev cylinder is fully coated. But step one...give the optics a good cleaning. Check the shutters on the lamp carriage...techs like to tweak these to get rid of the dark area down the center of the copy that appears when the drum starts getting old.....wow...been a while since ive worked on one.

coming back to me now...on np7130 when you replace the drum you have to input the primary value,ip offset value and run the set-up routine. These are all accessible thru user mode. Turn off machine...hold down auto button, turn on. Move thru list until you find...i believe...U1,U6,U7...something like that....been a while.
