    ir advanced fin a1

    When doing multi prints/no staple-grippers seem to pull top sheetn back into delivery area. Canon has a mod-firmware and possible part replacement. Part is not available-having trouble registrating firm ware.
    Does anyoner have a mechanical work around, or service mode adjustments?

      The mod is to remove the 3 mylars with sponge rubber behind them if you can not get the firmware to load.
      I would still try and get the firmware to install on the machine. You need 4.23 on for your SST or if you have the USB version just unzip the file on to your thumb drive and power the machine up in 2&8. I think anything above 33.02 has the proper finisher version on it but 37.03 is the latest.

          The torsion spring (FU8-2202-000) on the Gripper Assembly, Re-wrap spring and secure in place

              Canon fix is to remove the upper gripper pads and mylars. The newest software fixes the problem also. Is machine not using CDS? Set that up and software upgrade is a breeze. Canon just recently posted newest software on extranet in Canada.....2 months ago the only way was with Content Delivery System enabled.
