only jams with legal, out of any tray. Jams going into punch unit(internal finisher) and had a dog ear corner. ltr-r runs smooth. tried the bulliten, loop timing. wraped xtra wrap on spring per knowledgebase

not urgent just refurbin a machine in the shop here wonderin if anyone else has ran into it.

This knowledge base article refers to LTR size jamming not LGL.
Next question is internal finisher with a punch unit, Humm. That can't be possible!

ya youre right i was just grasping at straws with the spring thing.
ya its an internal finisher s1 with a punch unit on the right hand side. kinda takes the place of the big paper guides on a regular s1

article 60121 is the one i saw with the spring wrap.

when i remove the jam it is folded up a little in the guide of the punch unit. inspecting it straight ahead from the right hand door it looks as if its crinkled a bit between the delivery rollers(main unit) but this could be result of just those rollers working and not the punch unit advancing.

sry if that doesnt make much sence

I must say I've never seen it before. You got me going into the archives of the 3570/4570 service guide and your right there is a R1 puncher unit.
