[Jamming] iR105+ Intermittently Double-feeding A3 creating blank pages in booklets

I have a 105+ which seems to feed two pages of A3 from the drawer. The customer is a school printing exam papers as booklets.

The machine occasionally (1 in 5 booklets, maybe 1 in 30 sheets) feeds 2 A3 right through the machine, including around the duplex without separating them and makes a booklet with a blank page because of this.

I have tried changing the rollers on the feed section, changing the feed section and the paper and the drawer insert, all to no avail.

I'd appreciate any idea's as i'm due back to try it again today or tomorrow maybe.

    Sounds like a separation problem

    There are couple of rollers.

Did you change all. Feed, Pick up, front and rear, Separation rollers,

Check the paper, make sure there not stickin together.

    Do you fan out paper?

    Are you using Canon parts?

So this is a saddle stitch booklet? so this happens from tray 3?4? did you look at the parts on the feed head levers ,springs, clutch dirty ? there is an busing that gets dirty too in these feedheads. make sure all shafts turn without binding. swap 3 and 4 heads with new rollers see what comes of it Kinda sounds like Paper issues though this time of year getting humid.
Be polite let us know what comes of it.

Certainly, i'll post the outcome if i ever get one :P
