It sounds like you are trying to get a technician to do this "on the side".
PLEASE, do yourself a favor, and get service through an authorized Canon dealer.
If parts are needed, you can only get them from a dealer; even if the "moonlight" tech worked for a dealer, he'd most likely have no way to legally get you the parts you need.
Keep in mind that a CLC900 isn't exactly a machine for amateurs or beginners; you need a real tech.
You also have the issue of warranty on the work performed, that only a legit dealer can provide.
While the dealer's labor rates will be higher, it will be way more than worth it in the long run.“I think you should treat good friends like a fine wine. That’s why I keep mine locked up in the basement.” - Tim Hawkins -
E010
too many things to go over on this out of production printer
-The main motor (M4) may be faulty.
-The main motor drive system is subjected to an overload.
-The main motor driver PCB may be faulty.
-The DC driver PCB may be faulty.
-The CPU PCB may be faulty.

I'm not far, but I haven't worked Canon Color. Like Ken said, you really need a qualified guy with this model. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
