I had cleared the fax I believe back to the factory default by using data reg and the # key. Scrolled down to clear all memory because a had a fuser error that wouldn't clear. After I cleared all the memory my scanner, my copies that come from the scanner are somewhat crammed in the middle and don't copy correctly. the recieving end of it works fine. It comes out just fine. The scanner worked correctly before I did any clear all procedure. Does any one know what may have happen and perhaps has the factory scanner settings. I would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much in advance.

I am slightly confused - so situation normal here for a late friday afternoon. First, the clear all is most likely not an issue. Second, did you replace the fuser - or just try clearing the code? It almost sounds to me like you are saying the printed output is fine (receive and copy output) but the input (scanning input) gets fan folded - yes? What I am trying to get at is if it is a printer (output) or reader (input) issue. -
It's a little bit late for this situation, but in the future...
I've found that All Clear functions cause a lot more problems than they solve. You loose a lot of very useful settings that can be very hard to restore.
I would go to another like model, working machine, and print off the service dump. Then with that document, start reading through all those lines of data & settings, and start restoring all the things that are different. Then I would try to forget where those All Clear functions are. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Yes your totally correct and I appreciate your response. I will have to find another model like that and copy all the data. Thanks so much BC.Comment
