having problems with ir 5065 half faded copies replace corona wires and also assembly s
make solid black copies good ran 11-17 see if drum had dead spot but it looks fine.

Have you checked potential control?

Check the laser shutter actuator on the front of the Process assy. It will copy and not give you E100 but it doesn't make the shutter go in enough. I've had this a couple of times.

Your making copies from the glass?

Check your optics, on the machine and feeder.

Clean them if there dirty

Also for the hell of it check your fuser section. Make sure your bushings are ok and not broken, it can cause a uneven amount of pressure when fusing toner to the paper.

Is the drum heater turned on? In these high humidity days, it can make a real difference in overall copy density...
