      Drum Phase Adjust:

      Enter Service mode

      Copier>Function>Misc-p>dr-p-adj

      check it and press ok, the mashine does the adjust automatically and the result should be an *OK* popping up

          This should be done AFTER physically incrementing the drum to the next slot in the 4 slot key. 1>2, or 2>3, or 3>4, or 4>1.

          The whole purpose of drum phase changing, is to keep the image area moving on the drum to reduce electrostatic fatigue.

            Currently the drum is in phase 1>2 , Do I suppose to change phase? and when I suppose to change phase?

              250,000 copies is the factory spec for this, doing it earlier will not harm anything, be sure to reset drum phase counter so the copier won't start nagging you to do it later...
