imagerunner 600 DOC Feeder Springs Adjustment?

Does anyone know if you can adjust the tension on the doc feeder springs on the iR600 to help it stay up and not slam down, or do you have to swap out the springs?

    Thanks

I don't believe there is any adjustmnet. But there improved the springs so the feeder will stay up better. I have also seen a "spring helper" that goes between the coils to give it extra lift. But I am not sure were to get those.
Is the glass half full or half empty? I say neither. The glass is obviously full, full of potential. The potential to hold more water or the potential to quench a thirst. Life is all about how you see it.

there isn't an adjustment for the tension on the spings. You can either replace them or get some the spacers FY1-1261-000 to increase the pressure on the springs.

Newer part number on the spacers are FC8-9927-000. $1.07 each retail!!!!! and a lot easier than pulling the hinges out.
