    [CQ] IRAdvance5045

    Copied a proposal w/colored pics, a bunch printed fine but one came out b+w; has happened before; wonders why
    Has anyone seen or heard about this problem before

    Make sure firmware is updated to the latest.

      the Pics that come out B & W off the glass / are being read as B & W/ does the pic have a white border/ ?
      scanner may be reading something on pic to identify it as B & W

      Agree with SCREWTAPE about keeping up with Firmware updates on these ADVANCED Models
      **Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**

        You can adjust the color recognition sensitivity in service mode. Some originals are more difficult for the scanner to pick up if they are color or B/W than others.
        Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.
