    C3200 - frozen display

I started up a irC3200 today that it looks like everything is booting up OK. Start ImagePass, start copier. Display goes through normal screens, then when it gets to the final screen it keeps saying warming up - the screen is frozen. You press tabs and nothing happens, you open a door and it keeps running. I think maybe I need to reflash the HD. Just wondering if anyone has run into this before, a first for me.

Check your IMG-CONT interface setting, it should be set to "3"

    Did anyone clear MMI???

IMG-CONTis set to "3". Do not know about MMI clear. Do I need to try that? What if someone has already done it?

        =======================================
        update

I checked the IMG-CONT it was set right but I entered '3' again. Shut machine down and reboot - it is working. You figure.

good fix= just make sure that the interface cable from C1 to 3200 is secure & in good order

the original C1's and 3200's have had Communications issues like that before & still do/
what ver. is your C1= it is shown on USER DATA Print out/ + what ver. is the 3200 at ??

Hey guys I'm having another problem with my 3200. I keep getting the message that the print server (with network connection) has shut down. This happens after having pressed the printer status/setting button, and the wating screen has disappeared. Any ideas?

Well I was having trouble getting into setup for the C1, I kept getting the E00067-0004 error (I think that's what it is). Well it's stopped doing that, but now everytime I try to get into the setup for the C1 I now get a message saying the print server has shut down, and to restart both the copier, and the server.

Buddy what are you really doing.

This error code will be indicated when an error is detected during the configuration check made at the time of the imagePASS C1 Startup .

Perform the following troubleshoot steps, in this sequence:
                            1. Check if the affected iRC 3200 has 256 MB extended RAM installed.
                            2. Check and make sure the Boot Rom of the iRC3200 is type "C"
                            3. Enter the Service Mode and make the Interface Setting set to "3" COPIER > OPTION > INT-FACE > IMG-CONT
                            4. Check and reseat all the connection cables.
                            5. The System Software could be corrupt. Reinstall the System Software
                            6. If the error persists after reinstalling the System Software, one of the following parts may be defective and should be checked.
                            1. Network Cable
                            2. Video Cable
                            3. Hard Drive
                            4. Motherboard
