have u seen this Pud for intermittent 010D=was for LTR/ but u never know on this model/ Canon really has no definitive answers, except for those you already replaced

Mount Separation Drive Assembly: FM2-7983-000, this drives the lower fixing belt assembly.
Before removing the mount assembly be sure to scribe the two mounting brackets.
Intermittent 010D jam code/jam can occur during mono or full color copying or printing

Hi ya thanks for the reply yes i have replace them in the past .
Its a weird one i think the delivery and reverse assemblies are very flimsy.
If i put a heavy stock a3/sra3 through bypass it jams at the reverse guide and tries to feed back into internal delivery. if i run lighter stock i just get the serious kink in the paper but no jam . if i run anything duplex it works fine and if i set bypass to irreg size and run prints in face up mode it works fine .
Weve got quite a few of these in the field I love em NOT ! lol

          C1 jams

          hi
sorry i should have said its more of a wrinkle almost like a z fold .
when you watch the paper going through the machine you can see the wrinkle as the paper takes its path under duplex assy before it goes into reverse.
so it must only be happenning between leavinv internal delivery and and the bottom set of feed rollers at M8 reversing motor .
I'll tell you its causing me so much grief , the machine is in the workshop for refurb it looks like we have bought it in with the bloody fault machine only done 150K and our sales have sold it already .

it is usually not recommended to run two-sided HEAVY STOCK from BYPASS tray ??

            Medium to Maximum Media Thickness=

Cassette =17 lb. Bond>110lb Index (209gsm) and Transparency
Stack Bypass =17 lb. Bond >140lb Index (256gsm) and Transparency

            Deck AA1=Non Coated >
17 lb. Bond to 140 lb. Index (64gsm to 256gsm)
Coated >28 lb. Bond to 140 lb. Index (106gsm to 256gsm)

Deck AB1=LTR >17 lb. Bond to 110 lb. Index

Sounds like a delivery area issue to me. Could be your problem is related to the decurler unit.

Thanks for the input guys managed to sort it after a couple of hours of staring into the abyss .
It turned out to be the duplex assy ,the plastic part that drops down when you clear a jam.
It wasnt seated properly so the gap between the base fo the duplex and the base plate underneath was virtually non existant.
So when you tried to feed A3/SRA3 it just crashed into the underneath of the duplex assy.
So if you used 100 gsm it caused a wrinkle or kink in the paper a bit like a Z fold
and any heavier stock would just jam at internal delivery on its way back up .

So just another unusual fault in the C1 world

once again thanks for the input.
