    Start up sequence.

    <Control Program Area>

    - Control Program 1 (interval 2)
    1) The machine checks and initializes the various hardware on the main controller PCB.
    2) If the previous shut-down sequence was not performed normally, the machine recovers the system files
as needed. (In this case, the start-up time tends to be longer than usual.)
    3) The machine initializes the various program modules.

    - Control Program 2 (interval 3)
    1) The machine initializes the various software modules, and checks the configuration of the printer/
    reader.
    2) If the printer/reader is found to be normal, the machine ends the start-up sequence; otherwise, it will
    indicate E732/E733.

    Where does it stop?

In my experience if reseating the boot ROM doesn't fix it try replacing the RAM. That is the next most common cause, then I move on the $$$ main control PCB. I think in over 10 years I've replaced less than 5 main controllers and maybe about 10 RAM sticks.
We ran into this mostly when we tried using non-OEM RAM to save a few $$$.

u have that message on all 4 of these models=models:105,105+,7105,7086

is message "WAIT" or "Waiting to Print"

do you ever see-"Printer is warming up"

If the Start key light remains red>
Check to see if the fixing temperature is increasing in service mode; COPIER>DISPLAY>ANALOG>FIX-C and FIX-E. If the fixing temperature is not increasing, check the duplex connector, both on the duplex unit as well as the rear of the copier. Assure there is no damage, or paper caught in the connectors.

As all of you know of the wait .... during booting up.

How do you fix this . I dont think its a hardware issue with the MFC .
    1) Can this be rectified by a software reload using SST
    2) Is this a boot rom issue?

I dont mind sending this to the dealer/ service center as I am not gonna try to fix this unless absolutely necessary situations .I do a bit of government contracts and for some of which, time is critical. I cant wait 48 hours for the dealer to fix this and send it back.
    Thanks

    what model ??
    place a service call/
    could be anything= bad HDD/POOR CONNECTIONS/POWER/FIRMWARE CRASH
    /STUCK PANEL BUTTON
