IT'S WORKING AGAIN!!!
Thanks for all the ideas and the guidance. I had the whole damn thing dismantled, looking for what everyone was describing, then put it all back together and it started working again. Hmmmmm.
Only thing I can figure is a connection might have been left off during an earlier tray feed roller repair. I took off the circuit board on the back left side , the one that slides forward and lifts out. There is a single connection at the top, three at the lower left and one at the lower right. When looking around, after I removed that board, I saw the lower right one hanging loose and didn't remember taking it off this time. Maybe just alztimers, cause the machine printed a few thousand booklets since I had that off during the earlier repair.
But I figured I'd just screw the thing back together and try it.
Viola, I have just printed off a hundred booklets with no trouble.
Me happy guy now!Comment

Glad you got everything working...sounds like you had a ghost living in the copier.
I did want to add this comment though b/c I experienced it. Sometimes when that series sits and isn't used for a long time the fuser and other rollers can get flat spots and it screws up the timing and causes jams. Something to keep in mind if any further problems persist.Comment

It also sounds like the web wasn't advancing when you referred to the lubricator film. The assembly on front of the fuser has a series of gears and one way bearings that advance the web. I've had gears crack and the web doesn't advance so keep an eye on that.Comment

Well I just finished my thousand copy 8 page booklet. It felt like I was on top of the world. Cleaned the office (garage) and got all the spare parts and paper/toner organized. Was thinking, with my two spare copiers and this web forum, I might be able to stay in business.
Then I come back to my 'puter and see this gold trophy!
and these other comments.
Damn, this might work after all!
Thanks.
AND yes I have consumed at least six since the last post.
And to Black Cat - here is my Boy Rhythm's cat Chauncey

He wasn't lickn' his chops when we took this. Seems we have similar tastes.
Thanks everyone!Comment

If you don't mind, Merv, I'll use Chauncy as my avatar when I tire of this fellow.
kingpd, If you got got a better shot of Rachel Lynn, I'll use her too.
I don't want to damp your enthusiasm too much, Merv, but your jamming problem has probably just taken a short vacation, and will be back. For future reference, for the 010B jams:
1) The heat roller collars are behind that keyed gear in your photo
2) The bed fan is located in the pull out section in the center, beneath the black rubber belts.
3) The fixing motor is the one in your photo. There's a new style motor available.
4) and to tell if you've got flat spots on the pressure roller, hand rotate the fuser with the pressure on. If you've got flat spots you'll be able to feel the difference in difficulty when turning. Generally it will improve, but not go away entirely.
Congratulations. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Sorry Merv, I forgot to post how to tell for flat spots. Thanks blackcat.Comment
