    Canon IR6570 E000002-010 help

I am sorry if this is a repost... I recently got all Canon's loaded into my territory, where normally I work on Ricoh and I am like a fish out of water for now. I have a ir6570 that is getting an E000002-010 - this is a fuser code no? Is this caused by the lower pressure roller bearings seizing? or am I confusing this with something else.

    Thanks in advance,
    -Mike

you are correct that this is a fuser error. First you have to reset the error in service mode (* 2,8 *) copier>function>clear>err-clr hit OK.

this could be a thermistor issue, the heater core could have a problem and then there was an issue for a while where you would get a loose connection between the frame of the machine and the fixing tray that would cause this problem and you would have to shim the connectors on the tray side to give you a more secure fit.
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

the thermistors should be replaced with every fuser rebuild on this model and they are spring loaded. Dont be surprised if that is not your issue. Also get your hands on a manual before rebuilding the fuser on this one as well. It is a head scratcher until you get use to it.
