I recently had a tech come out and adjust the settings for my Canon c5185. He kindly explained everything he did and walked me through the process. As it has been a few months, I want to double check what I need to do.
My problem is that when I print out the single line square report, the colors are not perfectly lined up and the images are looking blurry. Same problem the tech fixed.
I have the P-Print/Copy Service Report the tech printed out. He mentioned that I need to clear the DC-CON and MN-CON and then re-enter the setting based off the print out.
I went through and cross checked the settings from the printout with those in the machine and found that there are only a handful of settings that have changed.
Can I just change those numbers back to what is on the report and restart the machine or do I need to actually clear the CONNS and enter all settings?
Also, am I missing something?
One other thing, all my color drums are around 285%. Should I change the drums first to see if that helps, or change after, as they do not affect the alignment?
Thanks for the help.
