Hope you did first try to RESET the fault before changing the board ?! Zero-cross signal problem.
Check the components in the fuser assembly i.e the thermistors for shorts or opens. The heater itself could be at fault. The main power supply PCB could also be faulty , check it and if questionable replace it. And if you happen to be using a GENERATOR you could be having a problem of unstable or varying FREQUENCY from the nominal value.
To clear error: go to service mode, then COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERROR.
I have canon ir 3300 with E261 error
Replaced DC controller and Power supply board and same error.
Thanks.
COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERR
Use this mode to clear an error code: E000, E001, E002, E003, E004, E032, E717. Using the Mode= will not function on E261
1) Select <ERR> to highlight, and press the OK key.
2) Turn off and then on the main power switch.

The intervals of zero-cross signals deviate from the tolerance range while
the fixing heater is supplied with power. Main cause The wiring is faulty (short circuit, open circuit). The main power supply
PCB is faulty. The DC controller PCB is faulty. Making Corrections 1. Connectors
Are the connectors J205 on the main power supply PCB and the connector
J308B on the DC controller PCB securely connected? (zero-cross signal: J205-7 <-> J308B-1) NO: Connect the connectors securely.
2. Main power supply PCB, Main controller PCB
Try replacing the main power supply PCB. Is the problem corrected? YES: End. NO: Replace the DC controller PCB.

I replaced the DC controller PCB and the copier works OK now
Good Fix,
but Remember to always check those connectors that go into board / sometimes they just don't sit correct, could save on expense of boardrepair

Can I use this method with iR4045i but connectors is J113 and J202?
