[Jamming] Canon IR2270 Jamming for no reason

I replaced the feed rollers and transfer roller. Everything ran fine.
This morning customer called saying it was jamming again.
Now it is jamming just past the fuser. 3 to 4 inches are past the fuser exit rollers and the rest is an accordian. Swapped the exit sensor and cleaned all the transport rollers.
After 2 hours of cleaning and testing it started working all on it's own.
Cust told me it tends to do that in the morning and stops later in the day.
    Any ideas???
This is the only 2270 I work on and it is a billable account, but I have to get them running ASAP.

    Thanks for any input.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

    What jam code you getting?
    What mileage has it done?
    Could be a few things.

Single or double sided? Does it on all sizes?

Does the paper fully exit the fuser? Or is the trail edge still in the fuser?

Thing to check / replace that are easy -If it still has the old black style vertical path rollers, change these with the new grey type. Check the internal 3-way lower vertical path roller ( on the green part that swings out the machine ) front bushing has not popped out / is lose. Is the lower RHS door foam strip in good condition> , if not replace it or even better replace the door and internal black guide with the IR32XX type.

Hows the humidity? , fresh paper works a charm in the 2270.,

    good luck
    Yes, I am a nerd.
Gaming PC - check. Raspberry Pi - Check. Custom ROM on phone - check. Thick glasses - check.

          Code 108. Simplex.
          All sizes including bypass.
As it warmed up jammed less.
Zoraldinho pointed me in the right direction.

          Thanks for all the replies.
I didn't know the 2230 had the same problem.

The rubber noise suppression pads were the problem. The rear one was worn to the point that only glue was left.
              Thanks guys.

If the jam code is 0108 try this..
On the R/H door, you will find a flapper that sits on 2 pads
Them pads over time get very worn, and the flapper sticks to them
And it's normally the 1st pge ofthe day will jam
When the jam is removed, this unsticks the flapper, and the machine works okay for the rest of the day
and over night the flapper sticks again to the pads

                FIX...Change the pads

Figure 354 in the parts man, and flapper is Item 13 (and pads are either side)

Good Luck IF This is the case of your jam

Just finished one of these. The guy before me diagnosed it as fuser parts without removing fuser. Keep it simple!
