    wrinkled copies on canon ir 5055

    aside from adjusting nip width, is there any setting that could take the wrinkling copy problem on canon ir 5055? machine is making wrinkled copies intermittentlly on letter size paper but not on legal and letter-r. any input from experience is appreciated...

        check the fuser entrance guide also, sometimes there is some dirt or toner stuck on the plate, making the paper bump against it.
        If sometimes you feel a little useless, offended and depressed always remember that you were once the fastest and most victorious sperm of hundreds of millions!

          The grain of the paper is running in the same direction in legal and letter-r. Fuser bearings, bushings, age of the pressure roller are all prime candidates for this problem.

              You can check and adjust the level of the fixing inlet guide, but the culprit is normally the pressure roller bearing seizing and damaginf the shaft on which they run thus decreasing the pressure between the fuser rollers, resulting in the problem you have.
