IR ADV 5045 B1 Fiery issues.

Ok firstly on the operation panel when I go into printer, settings- I have all the options avaialble except calibrate. Nothing has been done to this new machine except previous calibrations of both the machine and the fiery. Secondly on the othe machine, following re-installation of the firey software I now get a jam registered in the ADF every time go to scan a page during fiery calibration. Any help would be really appreciated as we are ricoh and utax dealers but one of our customers demanded these canons,5 in total- so we have litle experience of them. Cheers.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.

    You can find calibration in:

    Additional settings>adjustment/maintenance>adjustment image Quality

For your ADF issue you have probably 55.xx system version installed.
    Use 45.xx or latest 56.xx.

I agree with the last reply to this thread, just upgrade the firmware.

There is a known issue that claims a jam in the DADF when trying to run the calibration of the B1. If the copier is at version 55 or higher, there is a patch for the B1 that needs to be installed...

I ran into this 2 weeks ago...

This Technical Publication is to announce the release of Fiery Patch 1-19Q9Q0 for the imagePASS-B1 v1.01. This patch resolves an issue where a jam is reported at the Automatic Document Feeder when a ColorCal calibration is performed on an imageRUNNER ADVANCE device with v55.xx (v2) firmware or above.

reloading the firmware on the B1 and then installing the patch will solve your issues

version 56 is for the copier. The patch goes on the B1???

If he doesn't have access to the firmware then he will need the patch.

Not in my world,,, the patch must be downloaded from the Canon Support website. Bring up article #77125 in the Download area, and you get the link to the file, and the tech pub.
