    [Misc] Canon c6800

Copier's upper fuser roller was worn - kind of flat- on one side. I've replaced the upper fuser roller and the web but after installation copier seems to be overheating and is causing the upper fuser roller to wear ( inflate).
There is no error code and thermistors and thermal fuse seem to be working fine.

Only advice I have to offer on this is to make sure the thermistors are riding on the rollers where they belong. Best to replace the pressure roller along with the upper roller, as they both get flat spotted from sitting too long.

Upper Fuser Roller has Flat Spots.

To help prevent the premature deformation of the Upper Fuser Roller = is to change the setting of FX-CROT in service mode.

The default setting for FX-CROT is set to 0.
Try Changing the setting from 0 to 3.

      Enter service mode level 1 (* 2 8 *), select Copier > Options > Body > FX-CROT and change setting
      accordingly.
