    irc3200 - adf

    does anyone had faced this kind of problem? my irc3200 adf paper stopper are always facing down. like normal adf, the stopper are up, it goes down only when the first paper are sliding down to scan and it goes up again when the second paper are ready to scan. the stopper i mean is as point with screw driver.

    are your dip switches in correct position
    >Set all bits on the dipswitch (DSW1) OFF. {UP}

      if your dip switches are in the correct position and you have cycled the power and the problem persist I would take and replace the seperation drive assm.

      FYI...this is not an easy task to do. Review the manual and take your time replacing this unit.
      Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

        the drive gears in Separation Drive Assembly can be broken. This can cause the pick-up roller to stay in the down position and not lift back up.


        it is easier to replace the entire DOCUMENT PICK-UP ASSEMBLY/ take off a few screws pop it off/pop new one on-
        then the Separation Drive Assmby

        check if u have a B1 or K1

        ZSD xxxxx (A)
        ZSE xxxxx (AB/Inch)
        <DADF-K1>
        XKW xxxxx (AB)
        XKX xxxxx (Inch/A)

        XKZ xxxxx (Inch/AB)
        if u don't put that Sep drive unit in the correct way/ u can re-crack the gear/

        Also check this picture below
        ensure that the actuator for the pickup roller is set as indicated in the photo.

        If not set this way your pick-up rollers will be locked in down position
