    [Dead] IRC3170

    the main power switch on......... display lcd is blank .....and power led is on... no ration in the m/c //////////..ichek sdram ...help me.

    Does the machine warm? up I would check reseat all boards in the main controller, replace ram.

      did you try a new boot rom?
      could also be main controller.
      Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

          There is another power switch !

          You probably have been switching the power switch on the right hand side of the printer !

          There is another power switch at the back of the printer on the right hand side !

          How do I know I just got caught out exactly like you have just been caught out on an IRC3170.

          Thats right lets have two power switches on a printer to confuse us.

          Hope this sheds some light on your problem !

            unplug dc controller connectors one at a time/
            power up printer each time u remove a connector
