    imagerunner 3100 itb

    Hello, can someone tell me how to remove the itb without damaging the belt.

    If you have the service manuals of irc 3100 then go through it and you will not face any problem to change the itb

      Not a job for the untrained user. There is a lot of disassembly involved with this process and even then you have to be careful removing it!!!
      Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

        Yes I am canon trained, though by the question it seems as I am not! I ran across a customer with a c3100 with a copy quality issue and wants me to address it at a later date. I believe it is a drum assembly but just looking at my options. I am trained on the 5800/6800 so they seem to be similar.

            I also have NAVI and checked for the procedure but does not have it, I need the CD to be able to access that information. Is the cleaning blade attached to the ITB or does it slide out? Can I lube the blade or does it go in dry?
