I am having this issue as well, however we purchased a new screen assembly. Trying to unplug the old one, but cannot seem unplug the wire. Any suggestions on this? I don't want to pull and break the wire.

You can either wish it apart, or grasp all the wires equally and keep on tugging...

Thank you for the PDF, i have saved it for future problems (hopefully do not have to use it). I was able to get the piece off with the help of a tiny screw driver.

I am having same issue as the OP. The display sometimes is off 1 inch vertically and sometimes it's ok. I took it apart and made sure the LCD had no pinched wires. Somehow it works today and I did the + touch screen check. Should it go bad again, where does one order one of these spare LCDs?

I tried asking Arima company and no dice...

Re: Canon IR C3220 Touch Pad issues

Once again, thank you for the amazingly detailed help Teckat!

I took it out and put it back now it works. I also made a tiny point pen to use on it and it's been 2 weeks and hasn't gone off yet.

I called arima display and they told me they no longer produce this assembly.

I called one of my copier people and he told me the used unit will cost 200$ and there's no warranty more than 1 month.

I think my part number is the whole assembly and the one you looked at is just for the screen. If it goes bad again, should I just order one of these new screens from ebay?

Just replace the analog touch unit if it happens. the LCD does nothing but display, the analog touch unit is what does the touchpad. They're like 30 bucks my cost. Teckat listed the part number in the post above.
