I have a customer who has a deletion on the outboard side of their prints. The copier is a canon ir1023. Copies and prints are bad. I cleaned the charge roller. The developer is covering the mag roll. Could the laser be the problem? Thanks, Roger.

The deletion is in the paper feed direction. About 1 inch of faded print on the side of 81/2 x 11Comment

remove drum and check top of dev unit, sometmes toner comes out of dev unit and builds up in front of laser blocking its path, causing deletions or blank lines on your copiesComment
