    [CQ] IR7105 lines on the copy

    Dear All,

    I have one problem with IR7105 .lines on the copy ,Replaced primary corona unit and cleaned laser dust glass still same.Checked drum and development unit no lines on that. I think some problem with laser unit.How can I open laser unit?.

    If your lines are lead to trail edge, you should be changing your cleaner blade, and polishing your drum.
    The laser comes out the manual feed end. Remove the hopper and work your way in.

      cleaning blade,,, polish drum,,,,
      if the line maked by feeder copy,, chek the platen glass,,mirror

        clean the mylar by the dustproof glass. It sits above the drum when the drum is pulled out.

          those lines are outside the non-image area/

          that is one print/ do the lines appear in same location/area all the time/on a multi-run

          doc looks like paper feed location ??

            On a multi-run the lines appear in same location ,yes feed location

                I agree with the other advice you are getting with the lines coming from the AP unit. Either the drum or drum blade, but you said in your post that it was on the "copy" function yet we are looking an internal print page.

                Is the image you uploaded for an internal print or a copy of that internal print?
                Also I would suggest upgrading this machine to the latest version.

                      Now that you sent a sample:
                      Is one line always short and the other long.
                      Run a 11x17 copy, see if it repeats.
                      Did you inspect the drum when changing the blade?
                      Looks like a staple attacked your drum to me
