    Canon iR5020 Stapler

I have a Canon iR5020 with a finisher. I have the printer shared via a Windows 2003 cluster server. The users are able to staple when making copies locally, but the option is grayed out when printing documents from a PC.
I am using the latest driver from Canon's website (PCL 5e for Vista and 2003 Server) for the printer, is there a seperate driver for the finisher? How can I enable the ability to staple documents when printing from a remote PC to this printer/copier?

        stapler

if the canon software is not loaded on the machine to get device status go to the print driver and tell it it that a staple is installed in the finishing section of the driver ..

It can be configured manually in the print properties. The idea is to get the driver to know all the available accessories.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
