New hard disk for IR3300

I'm not sure if they ship internationally or not but Memory Experts has great HDD's which are already formatted.

And besides....have you ever tried to use a different model's software?
SST just simply will NOT let you do it.

Chaps read the first 2 pages so excuse me if Im going over old ground:
1 - Use Canon Hard Drives- Toshiba with V.13 or above of H/Format.
2 - If its not networked use Canon USB-Parrallel FY9-4154-000 with Nethawk.
3 - If networked use download mode (2+8) set ip of laptop to 172.16.1.164
255.255
4 - No fixed ip on 2800/3300.
5 - If canon send you new fujitsu hard drive wm2-5235-000 your f@@ked, the sst doesnt support it yet and the hd format doesnt work even on v.15, we've hd to rob all our old machines.

Once again if this old news sorry - done these so much I know what works!

I got one of the the WM2-5235's and couldnt do anything with it. Only got v13 Hdformat though. Knew v14 was out from an ATI on dealernet but not got hold of it anywhere. Hadnt even heard of v15 though! Where did you manage it from?
Anychance someone could upload the latest version would be really appreciated

What HHD are you trying to use? Not every hard drive is compatible with the Canon copiers.... Make, model, size?

We get our hard drives from memory experts and you DO have to format them BEFORE loading system software

Is the first time I saw a real long discust, how ever, first in my 14 years of technichian I never saw a broken hdd.
I worked with the same problem, E602, and the guy tell me it was broken and get another hdd.
The hdd on IR3300 it was 6gb,and they get 80gb, the problem is not the zise of hdd
is how you "charge the system".
If you repair copiers as a hobbie forget it, at less you have to know how the machine works and specially in IR's serie.
What I do was load the system again in the original disk.
and in the new one first I formated it and them load the system, and it is the time two disk work perfectly.
By th way on tip, I do it with sst v2.0
