Publication covers the temporary countermeasure to resolve the ETB from shifting to the rear (non-operator side) of the imageRUNNER ADVANCE 8000/6000 series machines.

If the ETB (P/N:FC8-7160-000) is shifting towards the rear (non-operator side) of the machine, it may cause the belt to become creased and pitted along the end. Along with damage to the belt, this symptom may cause image quality issues to occur.

As a temporary countermeasure, it is recommended to modify the ETB assembly by adding two (2) 1mm each Spacers (P/N: XD1-1108-229) to the drive shaft of ETB unit.
