[Jamming] Ricoh tech need help on old Canon NP6030

Paper Jams out of tray 2 with new feed tires. It picks up the paper and goes in about 4 or 5 inches then stops. I know
on a Ricoh if the tray is set to the wrong size it will cause this prob. but the tray is set properly. I'm guessing a clutch?
    Thank you for any help!!

Start by getting the jam codes.

If my memory still serves, there's a small hole through the purple inner front cover right near the meter. Use an allen wrench or the like to press the push switch within the hole. When successful you'll get a "$" in the corner of the display. You'll enter 01, Start, (which is display), then you can scroll through the entries until you see "Jam", then Start. They'll look like "010C" or like that. Write down all the ones recorded, then come back.

Any other old codgers, feel free to correct me. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I still have the giant wavy paper clip I straightened for the task!!!

If you haven't already done it it is worth cleaning any of the vertical path rollers as well, I seem to remember a couple were fond of just sliding over the paper and not feeding, but yes once we have jam codes!!!
