are you trying to saddle stitch statement size paper or make a book that size with LTR-R paper?

Pages from SADDLE_FINISHER-K3_PARTS.pdf this cable has caused issues like this in the past. Another issue could be your saddle controller version. It needs to be at version 6.01 and is ROM chip that needs to be flashed with a chip burner or purchased from Canon or NWRS or HYTEC. See attached tech pub>>TP07 030.pdf
