receive the following jam code 070a every print- paper size is irrelevant. The paper will wrap into the fuser. I had a tech go to replace the fuser for copy issues and then this scenario occurred. I'm heading there tomorrow, wondering if anybody has had this kind of problem, since this is one of the few we have. Thanks in advance!

Problem :
An 070A jam code was recorded in the jam history. This happened after a fixing jam where the paper wrapped itself around the fixing pressure roller. This happened after a machine was newly installed.
Solution :
In this case, it was determined the paper being used was the cause of it wrapping around the fixing pressure roller. Paper can be changed to help prevent this from occurring. In order to help prevent this type of paper from wrapping around the pressure roller, a service mode feature was implemented. It was found by turning Service Mode LVL2 > COPIER > OPTION > IMG-FIX > PRE-FXRL > to 1, helped resolve this issue. This Service Mode feature when turned to a 1, turns on "Pressure Roller Soiling prevention mode". After turning this to a 1, the 070A jams stopped occurring with no paper wrapping around the fixing pressure roller.Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.
