HI,
Customer called with E711 service code each time they turn on and off.
I have very little exp. on this machine.Can I reset and if so how do I enter the service mode to do so?

Andy e711 means that ic106 on the dc controller has gone out. Replace the DC controller.

Are you getting your E711 at power up, maybe with duplex jams? Check sensor PS7 in the reversing guide assembly. It is the #2 leading assembly inlet paper sensor.

I went to machine today I checked and disconnected the pedastal and 711 code clears up.I checked sensors on pedastel and duplex unit and they are ok.iS IT A GOOD ENOUGH CHANCE THAT THE CONTROLLER BOARD ON PEDASTAL UNIT IS THE PROBLEM,and I would be fairly OK ordering it?

Re-seat all the connectors on the d-con,etc..before you throw a board at it ..composite power supplies on these machines are notorious for cracked solder joints

yes i am agree that sometime the padastel connector are loose.
try disconnect all connector to pcb.
its nut man.

HI,
Thanks for info,Ill check when I go back to machine,Right now I diconnected unit and customer is using upper trays,and they havnt said a word(There were some other issues with soft,breaking apart trasnport rollers in unit anyway.
