    [CQ] CLC 1140 with jitter banding

    single color, all colors. jitters are cross feed. stronger in center area of 11x17.
    anybody seen this? and what is the answer?

    make sure the drum gear is clean / also check the transfer drum gear/
    The photo drum gear (300T) could have damaged teeth. When these teeth engaged the transfer drum gear, they will push away from each other.

    inspect the drum weights on the rear of printer

    Check that the Post Cleaning Corona Assembly is not arcing.
    **Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**

      i also remember the retention assembly causing banding on these units as well.
      Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

        Retention unit clutches need to be cleaned.
