My colleague tried clearing DC-Con today to resolve image shift from top to down. He did adjusted trays but after having put all original P-Print details the copy quality became poor and weird as if image reader could not read magenta. The weird thing also was that internal prints are fine but printing from pc is very dark. auto grade comes out with ok but anything via scanner is weird. Could the clearing of the DC-Con change any other value affecting the scanner. What shall we do to resolve this issue as the machine had no CQ issue before engineer's arrival. Unfortunately am unable to post a sample but as I said anything copied from adf/glass is weird deficient of Magenta. Please help! Many Thanks

Re: IRC3080 poor copy quality
u just can't clear DCON without printing out the current P PRINT settings
execute your auto gradation correction (full correction)
before and after performing shading correction
++++++ do --Addition Functions > Adjustments and Cleaning > Auto Color Mismatch Correction
For Miss-registration occurring in the front to rear (cross feed)
FEED DIRECTION.JPG
Clear out the Registration Data stored in the DC Controller.
To clear the data, perform the following.
Enter Service Mode: Level 2 > Copier > Function > Clear > Reg/Clear.
Highlight Reg/Clear and press OK.
After performing the clear, reboot the machine and perform a Gradation Quick Adjust and then a Full Gradation adjust.
Following the instructions above would have prevented you from having to perform a DC-CON clear, and inputting all DC-CON values from the door label.**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.** -
Re: IRC3080 poor copy quality
After a DC-CON clear, it's necessery to put back the P-Print values or , at least, the door values. For the color displacement, clean the sensors (see attachment). At last, do the pascal.

Re: IRC3080 poor copy quality
PASCAL is executed when 'auto gradation correction full correction' of the user mode is selected.
also--------------
PASCAL
Adjustment for auto gradation correction control
COPIER>ADJUST>PASCAL
OFST-P-Y/M/C/K
Use it to apply offset adjustment on the test print reading signal (Y) for PASCAL control at time of auto gradation correction (full).
Method of Adjustment
- a higher setting will make the image darker after auto gradation correction (full).
Range of Adjustment: -128 to +128 [Factory default/After RAM clear: 0]
