[Misc] Canon iR Advance c5045 error code E000602-1113

Hi

I had error code E000602-1113.

I done HD Check in service mode and updated to the latest Firmware few times from USB Mem stick
and also the updater.
but now i do not get full menu screen.

Can i enable it service mode?

U can print to the copier but cannot copy as the menu does not appear.
see attached only 3 items appear on the menu screen on the left pic and also attached pic from similar machine
what the menu should appear like.

Use the button in upper right corner on the display and click show all.If you don't see more options you have missing files in firmware.

Hi,

The other thing beside corrupted firmware installed, you might want to check under Service Mode setting with "UI-COPY" set it to 1. Think it under Level 2 of Func-SW?

Pressed button show all and checked service level 2 and setting is on 1.

Still no joy screen as per pic.

That's hard nut to crack! Can think of couple options

1 Do a P-print of a good copier & compare it with the problem one, line by line way

2 OR Do a backup of every single thing that you can think of, DC-cont / R-cont. Nuke it with MN-cont CLEAR and cross your finger after the multiple reboots will it the true life.

3 OR grab another HDD replacement for the problem machine. After that, find another working machine to test the HDD that you swap out.

Just thought of another thing, before this error code to replace HDD does the machine has a licsence know as Access Management Kit?

Yes, Teckat's much simpler than mine. High chance poor contact of these items, especially between MN-Cont 1 and 2 is Connector PCB. During first few batch, it was giving weird problem

hi
have clean contacts and reseated cont1 and cont2 and all memory modules.
still the same symptoms.

installed new controller-1 and memory modules and prior to changing the contoller done back up
and restore on new controller-1 and updated firmware with the latest and the fault still there
with missing icons.

when you press all only the option for 3 icons appear and in service level 2 iu copy and other setting is set to 1.

any other suggestions please.

Firmware updated as in override on previous version?
