    [CQ] Configure Counter on Canon

    Hi Guys!

    How can I configure the counters in Canon IR 2270 as an example in the sequel 101/401/402/403/404.

    Very grateful for the attention.

      u need to look in manual for those counter descriptions that u bill customer under>
      other then 101 which can't be changed/

      in service mode>>locate-
      COPIER > OPTION >USER

      COUNTER1
      Setting Software counter 1 on the User mode screen 1
      <Setting value>
      101: Total 1
      [Value at shipping / Value after RAM clearance = 101 -> Cannot be changed]

      COUNTER 2to 6
      Setting Software counters 2 to 6 on the User mode screen
      <Setting range> 1
      0 to 999

          What's the best counter number to use for scanning, e.g I want to charge my customers for scanning, sending & faxing but don't want to include copying in this counter?

          I was using 501 but this includes ALL scanning.

          Many thanks.

            depends if your printer model (b & W /color) supports these counters---check your manual or read posted pdf above-

            942 = Send scan / FAX (Black-and-white)-depends on fax type(G3)
            944 =Send scan / IFAX (Black-and-white)
            946 =Send scan / E-mail (Black-and-white)
